Church Notices – St. Mary’s 1st May, 2016

  • Today is the 6th Sunday of Easter.
  • Monday is a Bank-Holiday there will be only one Mass at  10.00 a.m.  Masses for the remainder of the week will be at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
  • The final evening of reflection on the Year of Mercy as we prepare to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost will take place on Wednesday next from 7.30pm to 8.30pm here in the Church of St Mary. During the evening of reflection we will look at how our parish might be more inclusive, reaching out in mercy towards others. All are very welcome.
  • Update on proposed Parish Centre:  The plans for the new Parish Centre have now been approved by the Dublin Diocesan Buildings Committee.   The Parish will lodge the formal planning application with Kildare County Council this week.
  • St Raphael’s, Celbridge are looking for Volunteers for their Annual Fete in July.  Please see notice in porch for details.
  • Eamon O’Flaherty is organising a fundraising event in the Glenroyal Hotel on Sunday 8th May at 10am.  The Breakfast In The Glen hopes to raise money for St James’s Oncology Day Ward and the Juvenile section of Maynooth GAA.  Michael Duignan, double All-Ireland Medal Winner & Sunday Game Analyst, is the guest speaker at the breakfast. Tickets are €30 each and can be bought by e-mailing [email protected]  or can be bought in the GAA clubhouse on a Wed night, 9-9.30pm.  See poster in porch.
