Church Notices – St. Mary’s 22nd March, 2015 

  • Today is the 5th Sunday of Lent.
  • Weekday Masses in St. Mary’s during Lent will be at 8.00 a.m., 10.00 a.m. and 7.30 p.m.
  • The Girls from the Presentation Girls; School  will make their First Confession at 7.30 p.m. in St Mary’s Church on Tuesday next. There will be no 7.30 p.m. Mass on Tuesday evening.
  • On Wednesday next the boys and girls from Educate Together will make their First Confession at 3.30 p.m.  So there will be no Exposition on Wednesday afternoon.
  • The Bible Study Group will meet in the Parochial House on Thursday next at 8.00 p.m.
  • The Parish Newsletter is available after Mass.  Included in this Newsletter is the full text of the Statement from the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference on the Referendum.
  • The Church Grounds Collection this weekend is in aid of the Maynooth Senior Citizens Fund.
  • Sunday next is Palm Sunday.  Weather permitting we will start Mass outside the Church with the blessing and procession of palms.  For safety reasons there will be no parking in the Church grounds.  For those who need wheelchair access please arrive 15 minutes before Mass in order to park.
  • Maynooth Tidy Towns advise if anyone has electrical products (with plugs) or batteries, mobiles phones and light bulbs for recycling.
