Repairs to Church Roof.  There have been some enquiries as to why the scaffolding is erected at the back of the Church. Necessary work is at present being carried out to repair the two valleys in the roof at the rear of the Church.  The old copper valleys had holes in them from erosion and were replaced by lead valleys.  Missing and broken slates were replaced and other necessary repairs were carried out.  The work is being carried out by a local contractor.
