Easter Schedule 2021

  • Today is the Palm Sunday
  • In line with Government guidelines Mass will be broadcast daily at 10.00 a.m. on the parish webcam – www.maynoothparish.org.  The Church will be open each day for private prayer after Mass until 5.00 p.m. Funeral Masses will continue to be celebrated but numbers attending is restricted to 10 people only.  Please continue to wear a facemask and sanitise your hands when you come into the Church.  All Baptisms, Communions and Confirmations are postponed for the moment.  Due to restrictions Weddings which have been booked for Ladychapel will be transferred to St Mary’s for the time being.  Let us pray for one another and the safety of all.
  • On Tuesday next Holy Hour will take place at 7.00 p.m. where we will remember all those who were buried from our Church from the 12th March last year to date.
  • Next Week is Holy Week. An Easter Envelope which includes this week’s Newsletter and the Easter Schedule are available in the Church Porch.  The Schedule is also available on the Parish Website. Please take an envelope when you visit the Church.   Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions all of our Easter Ceremonies will be live-streamed.
  • On Good Friday, 2nd April, at 12 noon, we will have a simplified version of our traditional Stations of the Cross for children. Tune in with your children through the webcam.
  • Also on Good Friday, at 6pm, the Maynooth Parish Youth Group will gather via Zoom to reflect how Jesus’s last Words can speak to our lives. We invite any teenagers and young adults in the Parish to join us for this visual presentation and prayerful reflection.
