Today is the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
On the recommendation of the Family Mass team & the Parish Pastoral Council, our Family Mass is moving to Saturday evening at 5.30pm, on a trial basis. Today (yesterday) will be the first Mass. The Saturday 7pm Vigil Mass will take place as usual. We will not be resuming the 10am Sunday Mass in St Mary’s, but there will still be Mass at 10am in Ladychapel. With so many sporting events on Sunday mornings, hopefully the move to Saturday evenings will facilitate more families with children to take part in our Family Mass.
Parents of children attending schools which do not offer Religious Education are invited to register their children for classes in preparation for First Holy Communion & Confirmation 2026. Please see the parish website and church porches for further information.
Thanks to all who supported our recent Lourdes Collection which helps with the costs of sending sick pilgrims to Lourdes. A total of €1,860 was collected from Maynooth Parish. The Enrolment sheets containing the names of those who contributed will be placed at the Grotto and Mass will be offered during the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which takes place from the 4th – 9th September.
