The theme for our First Communion preparation mass on Sunday was
” Choosing the right path ”
A parent and their child lit our DTIM candle at the beginning of mass symbolising the light Christ brings into our lives especially when we make good choices.
The children then dramatised our gospel. Counting out the twelve apostles and showing the waves on the sea of Gallilee with a blue cloth as they processed down the aisle.
The names of the 12 apostles were called out. Highlighting te call of God to each of us and response by choosing the right path.
After mass we had a lovely reception of food and goodies for adults and parents.
