Church Notices – St Mary’s & Ladychapel 6th/7th November, 2021

Today is the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Please be guided by our stewards with regards to seating, receiving Communion and leaving the Church. We ask that you please continue to wear a facemask and sanitise your hands when you come into the Church and when you leave.

As there will be no basket collections at the moment – envelopes for the First and Second Collections are available in the porches. These can be placed in the baskets in front of the Altar during Mass or please hand them into the Parish Office.

TRÓCAIRE SPECIAL APPEAL FOR EAST AFRICA – The Bishops of Ireland have called for a national Church collection this weekend to support Trócaire in providing life-saving aid to vulnerable communities in East Africa and DRC, where millions of people are being pushed to the edge of starvation. Trócaire teams are already responding on the ground, and are ready to provide more life-saving assistance but need more resources. Any support the Parish can give to this Emergency Appeal will help the urgent work of Trócaire and their hardworking local partners. For more information see trocaire.org . This collection  will replace the SHARE collection.

Laraghbryan Cemetery Sunday – Cemetery Sunday will take place Sunday 7th November at 3.00 p.m. in the graveyard.   To help pay for the upkeep of the Cemetery there will be a collection at the Cemetery gate.  Alternatively, there are envelopes available at the back of the Church or the Parish Office for your donation and you can drop them back into the Parish Office.  If you wish you can donate online through the cemetery ‘GoFundMe’ which can be found on our facebook page @laraghbryancemetery.

Altar List of the Dead envelopes are available in the Church porch. Please take one and return it to the Parish Office or the Collection baskets.
