Update on our two major projects

I am delighted to say that we have appointed our Parish Youth Leader. This is a really significant long-term development for our parish.   I cannot give you her name yet, but I can confirm she will start in August.

Thanks everyone for your tremendous support for this project. Your prayers are certainly working, and so many of you also put your money where your thoughts and prayers were!

We are so heartened by the wonderful commitment to our faith in this parish.   Can I remind anyone who has yet to initiate the extra payment, to please do so as soon as possible.

We are also making progress on our second project, the upgrade of the grounds. We have now prepared plans for discussion shortly with the planning authorities. As part of this we have decided to leave the grotto in the same position, just moving it back somewhat. it will hold its position of prominence at the front of church.

The Novena to the Holy Spirit – a period of prayer, reflection and planning for the renewal of the Church in the Archdiocese of Dublin will take place in the nine days from 21st-29th May beginning on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, through Pentecost and continuing to the Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church.  Novena Prayer Cards are available in the porches.
