Today is the first Sunday of Lent.
There will be one weekday Mass at 10.00 a.m. during Lent.
Archbishop Farrell has given approval for a diocesan collection to be taken up in support of the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the devastating earthquakes on Monday 5th February. The Turkey/Syria Collection will take place this weekend and will replace the SHARE collection.
Meeting of Altar Society will take place in the Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next 1st March at 8.00 p.m. We need new volunteers to join the Altar Society. If you are interested please come along to the meeting just to see what is involved.
Bible Study for Lent will continue for the next five Saturdays from 11.00 – 12.30 in Pastoral Centre. Focus: Exploring Sunday readings in Lent. All welcome.
Maynooth Churches together invite you to join them for World Day of Prayer on Saturday next 4th March in St Mary’s Church of Ireland from 11.00 a.m. All welcome.
The Dublin Diocese Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday 29th April. The Parish will have a bus travelling to Knock. The pilgrimage mass will be celebrated at 3.00 pm by the Archbishop of Dublin. We will be stopping in Gleeson’s Hotel for a meal on the return journey. The cost of trip is €30. If you are interested in travelling please contact the Parish Office. Further details will be available later on.
