  • Today is the 2nd Sunday of Easter

 

  • Ladies Community Singing Group – singing for fun. We meet every Tuesday morning from 11.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. in the Parish Pastoral Centre (in St Mary’s Church Grounds) – commencing on Tuesday next 18th April -.  Please come and try it out.  Contact names/Tel. numbers are available in the Church porches.

 

 

  • St Joseph’s Young Priest’s Society will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next 19th after the 10.00 a.m. Mass.

 

 

  • The Maynooth parish Young Adult Group is organising a mass celebrating the annual International Day with the theme ‘Journeying Together’ on Sunday next 23rd Event starts with the band outside the church at 12.30pm, followed by the mass at 1pm and a sharing of cultural artefacts of more than 20 countries in the Parish Centre.   Everyone is welcome.

 

 

  • The Dublin Diocese Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday 29th April. The Parish will have a bus travelling to Knock.   The bus will leave the Boy’s school at 8.45 a.m. (last year the bus parked on the Kilcock Road). Teas/Coffees will be available to buy in St. Joseph’s as we arrive.  There will be 3 workshops which begin at 12pm on Laudato Si, Parish Partnerships and Lay Ministry and Prayerful Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Archbishop Dermot Farrell  will celebrate mass at 3.00 pm.  If you want to bring a lunch, tea and coffee will be available or avail of local restaurants and cafes nearby.  On our way home we will have a three course meal in Gleesons Hotel, Roscommon.
