Today is the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Thanks to all who have sent in their Summer Dues – Dues envelopes are available in the porches.
Our Archbishop has asked that we hold a Prayer Service for Gaza. This Prayer Service will take place here in St Mary’s this afternoon (Sunday) at 3.00 p.m. Why not join us and pray for Gaza. All welcome.
On the recommendation of the Family Mass team & the Parish Pastoral Council, our Family Mass is moving to Saturday evening at 5.30pm, on a trial basis, starting Saturday 6th September. The Saturday 7pm Vigil Mass will take place as usual. We will not be resuming the 10am Sunday Mass in St Mary’s, but there will still be Mass at 10am in Ladychapel. With so many sporting events on Sunday mornings, hopefully the move to Saturday evenings will facilitate more families with children to take part in our Family Mass.
The annual Blessing of Schoolbags will take place at the Family Mass on Saturday 6th September at 5.30pm & all are welcome.
Parents of children attending schools which do not offer Religious Education are invited to register their children for classes in preparation for First Holy Communion & Confirmation 2026. Please see the parish website and church porches for further information.
Church Gate Collection this weekend is in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
