Today is the Second Sunday of Advent.
St Mary’s BNS commenced accepting enrolment applications on Thursday last 1st December and will cease accepting enrolment applications on Tuesday 24th January 2023. They will also be hosting an ‘Open House’ Day on Saturday next 10th December between 12.00 – 2.00 pm. Parents and the wider community are invited to come and look around our fabulous new school. It is not an official opening, just a chance to take a look at the new building.
Thursday next is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The Vigil Mass will be in St Mary’s at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday. There will also be Mass in Ladychapel on Wednesday at 8.00 p.m. Mass in St Mary’s on Thursday will at 10.00 a.m.
Annual Night Vigil in Knock will take place on Wednesday 7th December – see notice board in porch for details.
The St Vincent de Paul’s Annual Appeal will take place next weekend. The funds raised will be used locally for Maynooth residents. Donation envelopes are available in the Church porch and we would be grateful if you would return your donation to St Mary’s Parish Office or in the Church during Mass. Alternatively, and should you prefer, you can donate online at svp.ie/maynooth. The members of SVP thank you for supporting us in our work for the disadvantaged in our community.
Christmas cards to support the work of St Brigid’s Hospice and Homecare will be on sale after all Masses this weekend at the back of the Church. Pack of 10 Cards cost €5.00 per pack. Thank you for supporting St Brigid’s Hospice. They are also available at the Parish Office.
