On Sunday the 11th of February Fr Cyril celebrated World Day of the Sick at the Do This In Memory Mass. A special box with the names of those who are sick at this time that we prayed especially for was brought to the Altar. The boys from St Mary`s BNS provided the wonderful art which was on display for all the parishioners to admire. A huge thank you to the boys who did the readings, reflections, collected the baskets and brought up the gifts. The children from Educate Together School performed a dramatisation of the Gospel. The drama was about all the different ways that Jesus heals. Thank you to Carmel for organising this, everyone was very impressed!
Unfortunately, because of a burst pipe in Maynooth we were unable to have the tea/coffee/treats in the parish centre this time.
The next (and final) Do This In Memory Mass will be celebrated on the 3rd of March.
