On Sunday, April 28th, 2024, the Salesian Maynooth Young Adult group hosted an unforgettable International Day in the Maynooth Pastoral Centre. The event, which kicked off with a joyous Mass at 1 pm, brought together people from various cultural backgrounds to celebrate diversity and unity.
Following the uplifting Mass, everyone had the opportunity to share in the rich tapestry of traditions from around the world. Tables were set up with representatives from China, Ireland, India, Italy, Malta, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Ukraine. From the aroma of exotic spices to the sounds of global melodies, the hall buzzed with excitement as participants indulged in traditional food, music, and dances. The event was a true testament to the power of community and the beauty of cultural exchange.
